Taiwan: go back a century with the Alishan Forest Railway

If you have taken high speed trains before, experiencing the Alishan Forest Railway will be completely different: this train will not take you from A to B in no time, but it will take you back to a century ago. The Alishan Forest Railway in Taiwan was completed over 100 years ago, in 1912 to be precise. It is the best way to explore the Alishan mountain, going up to 2450 meters! It is the highest railroad in Asia, even higher than the Himalayan one.

The forest itself makes you feel you are in an enchanted world, are you ready to feel the magic?

Oh, and do not miss the sunrise over the clouds!
