Mozambique: reasons to go to the gorgeous Bazaruto island in 24 pictures

The Bazaruto island in the Bazaruto archipelago is the biggest island in Mozambique’s unique dedicated marine life park. Its beautiful and post-card-like beaches will leave you speechless.

When I was there, in a month of June, we saw no other tourist on the island. I think our boat guide knew where to land on that island 🙂 A paradise place just for my friend and I. Though, the storm caught back on us, and the sand started to blow in the wind, making one of my 2 pocket cameras die as I insisted on taking pictures. Sand doesn’t taste too nice either. The colors on the island and the sand changed throughout the whole day, and we could snorkel when the sea was not wild yet. The boat trip back to the city of Vilanculos was hectic! but we saw pelicans and flamingos, and I would go there again any time.

The Bazaruto archipelago has magnificient islands. Soon I will post more shots of some other islands, but you can already check my pictures of Pansy island, part of the archipelago. A definite must-visit in Mozambique!
