Cuba: roam in the cementerio la Reina in Cienfuegos

The cementerio la Reina in Cienfuegos is the oldest cemetery in Cuba. There’s something about old cemeteries… it may seems weird, but somehow I like to do that once in a while, I find them fascinating. I’m not a “graver” or taphophile (yes there are people for whom it is a real hobby). This one was established in 1837, and Spanish Soldiers who deceased during the Independance War rest there at peace. If you go there, do not miss the “sleeping beauty” (Bella durmiente), the grave of a 24 year old who died of a broken heart in the early 1900’s.
