Bosnia-Herzegovina: visit the charming little town of Tuzla

Tuzla is a lovely little town in the North East of Bosnia-Herzegovina, accessible by plane as there is a small airport where the airline Wizzair flies. It is charming, and quite free of tourists! Indeed most people landing there just make their way to Sarajevo (3.5 hours by bus) or somewhere else.

It is worth a little stop!

It is full of history too. On 25 may 2015, at 8:55 p.m., a grenade fired from the Bosnian Serb Army landed on Kapija square. It was one of the biggest crime of the Bosnian War against civilians. It killed 71 young men and women mostly aged 18-25, and 124 were injured.
